My recent appearance at Espresso Cielo was a great success. As you can see from the image above, the crowd that attended were awesome.
I will be returning back to Espresso Cielo July 13, 2011. Check back for more information and updates.

Just thought I would share a little about who Marko – The Serenader” is and whats going on.

I have had a Martin Guitar since early 2000s. I figured I would take up playing again on the side, and have NOT touched the thing hardy at all.
Well, the last few weeks I have picked up playing finally, learning to feel the strings beating up my finger tips, and even got myself a Capo

I am learning to play now at this stage in life, as I think it would be great to have a different sound other then what I have had over the years. Kinda a reinvention of my expression output mode. I think its good to re-invent yourself from time to time.

Soon Ill be creating some audio clips of me singing and playing, but for now, Ill spare you the sounds hahahahaha

Espresso Cielo is Palm Springs newest , and I have to say greatest espresso cafe location!
I enjoy Espresso drinks, iced coffee and a great array of teas both hot and cold.

What I have enjoyed most at Espresso Cielo however, is the ambiance. Ive met some new friends, and chatted with existing friends here.

Greetings Fans!

I am now back from my trip to Seattle and can update everyone here on the trip!

I left Palm Springs bright and early on Friday … with the help of my friend Kevin to the Ontario Airport.
Flights and all went well, I landed in Seattle, and then to my surprise, found out its a bit confusing to get around in Seattle.
Coming from Philadelphia area, I figured it would be  snap to get adjusted, this trip was a bit different. All in all, I got to my place where I was staying ( I got a rental in Seattle  using AirBnB for in Seattle since Id be spending more time here then in Tacoma.)

After investigating timing etc, I decided to goto Tacoma on Friday Night so I stayed local to the convention center where the auditions were.( Thanks Mark for the help there!  )

AUDITION DAY:
I woke up at 4:30 am , still not sure if I wanted to be there right at 6 or wait until closer to the time the doors were due to open.
WOW how glad I am I decided to get my butt up and go early. I arrived at the audition site at 6:20 to find 75 people already waiting.

After going through all the paperwork and registration, we all sat in a large room , waiting for things to begin. Others were singing , doing their acts etc , some were more contained as was I , just reserving energy for their moment with the judges.
After a series of Group Photos ( OUT IN THE COLD ! ) we were led into the holding area to be called for our auditions.

My audition went well. I felt confident in what I did, walking away saying to myself ” Ya did the best you could possible do, you should be proud of yourself ! ” and I am.

Those of my long time personal followers know me well enough to know thats not something I would usually say after an audition

RESULTS :

I will find out within 2 weeks if I am advancing to the next round.
If I am chosen, I have to return to Tacoma again to go in front of the Celebrity Judges.

As I said, I feel confident in what I did, I would love to and hope to advance into the next round….. I am just glad that at least I had the confidence to go and audition!

I thank each and every one of you whom have been by my side over the years and even recently as I prepared for this over the last few months!
